Parts Needed:
- Drilled and Sloted Rotors From Zxtuner
Tools Needed:
- 3/8 Rachet
- 3/8 Extention
- #3 Phillips head skrew tip for a 3/8 drive
- 17mm Socket
- Lug nut Wrench
- Breaker Bar
- Rubber Malot (If needed)
- Foot Pound Torque Wrench
- Breaker Bar
FIRST, BREAK THE LUG NUTS AND PLACE A WHEEL CHOCK BEHIND THE FRONT WHEELS ALONG KEEPING THE CAR IN GEAR OR IN PARK .THEN YOU
CAN JACK THE CAR UP AND PUT JACK STANDS UNDER NEATH TO SUPPORT THE CAR.
THE NEW RUST COATED DRILLED AND SLOTED ROTORS, FROM ZXtuner.
ONCE EVERYTHING IS BACK TOGETHER YOU HAVE TO BREAK IN THE ROTORS, SINCE THEY HAVE A RUST COATING ON THEM
YOU WILL NEED TO TAKE IT EASY ON THE BREAKS FOR A LITTLE BIT TO EVENLY REMOVE THE COATING FROM OUTTER EDGES OF THE ROTORS.
COMMENTS: THIS IS HARDER THAN THE FRONT ROTORS, IF YOU NEVER REPLACED THE REAR BREAKS BEFORE THIS WILL BE EVEN A LITTLE MORE DIFFICULT. JUST TAKE YOUR TIME, REFER TO YOUR SHOP BOOK FOR MORE INFO IF NEEDED . IT SHOULD TAKE ABOUT 45 MINUTES TO AN HOUR AND A HALF TO DO BOTH SIDES (DEPENDING ON MECHANICAL SKILL LEVEL).
