Parts Needed:


THE NEW RUST COATED DRILLED AND SLOTED ROTORS, FROM ZXtuner.
THE BEFORE PICTURE.
AFTER REMOVING THE LUG NUTS AND WHEEL THIS IS WHAT IT WILL LOOK LIKE.
THEN REMOVE THE SPRING CLIPS FROM THE BREAK PADS.
WITH A BREAKER BAR OR RACHET WITH A 17mm SOCKET REMOVE THE TWO CALIPER BOLTS.
THEN REMOVE THE BRAKE CALIPER AND BRAKE PAD CLOSEST TO THE PISTON.
MAKE SURE YOU COMPRESS THE PISTON TO MAKE IT EASIER TO REPLACE THE CALIPER AND BRAKE PADS.
AFTER THAT YOU CAN PUT THE NEW ROTOR ON, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE RIGHT ROTOR FOR THE RIGHT SIDE..
THEN RE-INSALL THE CALIPER AND BRAKE PADS AS WELL AS THE CLIPS. NOTE: BRAKE CALIPER BOLTS TORQUE SPECS ARE 36-43 ft lbs
THE AFTER PICTURE AND FINAL PRODUCT.
ONCE EVERYTHING IS BACK TOGETHER YOU HAVE TO BREAK IN THE ROTORS, SINCE THEY HAVE A RUST COATING ON THEM YOU WILL NEED TO TAKE IT EASY ON THE BREAKS FOR A LITTLE BIT TO EVENLY REMOVE THE COATING FROM TOP HALF OF THE ROTORS. COMMENTS: THIS IS PRETTY EASY TO DO, IF YOU CAN REPLACE BRAKE PADS THIS IS JUST AS EASY AS THAT. IT SHOULD TAKE ABOUT A HALF HOUR TO DO BOTH SIDES.
